Ascension St. Vincent’s Baymeadows said April 21 it is expanding its services to offer urgent care for walk-ins.
The medical facility is at 10058 Baymeadows Road at Southside Boulevard. It has been offering adult and pediatric primary care services.
It will treat the following conditions for walk-ins or those with appointments: allergies; animal and insect bites; cuts that may need stitches; ear or eye infections; fever; minor burns; severe sore throat and cough; sinus or upper respiratory infections; skin infections; sprains and strains; and urinary tract infections.
“By offering heightened services at our Baymeadows location, we are ensuring that families are able to receive the care they need and deserve,” Mike Shaw, chief strategy officer for Ascension Florida, said in a news release.
“We are focused on meeting the patients we serve in the communities where they live. If we can expand services on the sites we already operate, we will never hesitate to do so.”
Hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Friday; 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
In 2026, St. Vincent’s plans to open a freestanding emergency room at Beach and Kernan boulevards. It will have nine treatment areas with CT and X-ray equipment.
It is expected to employ 40 people and serve 16,000 patients annually.
