Registration is open for the 21st annual Honorable Ralph W. “Buddy” Nimmons Jr. Federal Practice Seminar scheduled 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. May 1 at the Bryan Simpson U.S. Courthouse.

Designed for federal practitioners, the presentations will include:

• A practical skills session on mediation by U.S. Magistrate Judge Patricia Barksdale and a panel of local federal practitioners.

• A presentation on election law and 25 years since Bush v. Gore by Florida State University law professor Michael Morley.

• A session on integrating technology into jury trials by Curry Pajcic and Raymond Reid of Pajcic & Pajcic.

• A discussion about the origins of U.S. Supreme Court question selection and The Roberts Court’s (Other) Vacatur Revolution by University of Florida law professor Ben Johnson.

Registration closes at 5 p.m. April 25.
