George Davis promoted to CEO of Neptune Beach-based TowerCom

Its former chief operating officer, he has been with the cell tower developer since 2003.

Neptune Beach-based TowerCom, a developer of cell towers for almost 30 years, announced April 29 that it promoted George Davis to CEO.

Davis is the company’s former chief operating officer and has nearly 30 years of experience in tower development, including 22 years at TowerCom, a news release said.

The company also announced the promotions of Matt Richard from vice president of finance to chief financial officer; and  Chip Bulloch to senior vice president - east, overseeing new tower development, leasing and growth initiatives across the eastern U.S.

Richard joined TowerCom in 2020 as corporate controller. Bulloch has worked for TowerCom for more than 14 years.

The release said John Stevens has been appointed vice president – west, bringing 29 years of experience in digital communication infrastructure. Stevens, previously with Boingo, Dish and Mobilitie, will oversee all TowerCom operations and development in the western U.S.

Stevens replaces Chris Colton, who recently died and had worked for TowerCom since its inception.

“These leadership appointments reflect our commitment to building a dynamic and forward-thinking team,” said Rad Lovett, founder and chairman of TowerCom, in the release.

“With George, Matt, Chip and John in these pivotal roles, TowerCom is well-positioned for sustained growth and innovation.”

Founded in 1996, the company serves its wireless clients with a commitment to providing mission-critical, cost-effective infrastructure to fit the needs of the wireless industry, the release said.
