When we first became involved with Hunger Fight, we were drawn to the mission: combating childhood hunger and illiteracy across Northeast Florida. Over the years, we’ve witnessed something even greater—the relentless drive, unwavering faith, and strategic leadership that make this organization not only impactful but essential.
This year marks a turning point in Hunger Fight’s journey. With our collective support—donors, board members, and partners united—we were able to help fund the purchase of a 15,000-square-foot warehouse in the heart of Jacksonville’s Railyard District.
This isn’t just a building, it’s a launchpad.
It’s a place where thousands of volunteers will gather to pack meals and literacy kits for underserved children. A hub where local businesses, families, and faith communities can come together with purpose. A space designed to serve—efficiently, passionately, and prayerfully—for years to come.
We believed in this investment, not because it was easy, but because it was necessary. After years of navigating land challenges, construction delays, skyrocketing costs, and setbacks with contractors, the opportunity to purchase an existing facility that met every need was, without a doubt, divinely timed. And it was the right decision.
Our investment wasn’t just in square footage. It was in dignity. In literacy. In nutrition. In the idea that no child in our community should go to bed hungry or fall behind because they don’t have a book to read.
The building is open and the work is just beginning.
We invite you to join us. Whether you’re a business looking to give back, a family ready to serve, or someone who simply believes in doing good—there’s room for you here.
Together, we’re not just funding a building. We’re fueling a movement.
