Fisher Tousey has combined with Upchurch, Bailey and Upchurch, adding new areas of practice and more lawyers to its presence in Northeast Florida.
St. Augustine-based Upchurch, Bailey and Upchurch was founded 100 years ago and is known for its land use, environmental law, education law, trust and estates, real estate and banking practice.
Established in 1978 in Jacksonville, Fisher Tousey specializes in trusts and estate planning, tax planning, corporate law, real estate and litigation.
“This is an important partnership that allows us to serve our existing clients in more ways and continue to expand in St. Johns County, one of the fastest-growing areas in the Southeast,” Fisher Tousey Managing Director Trevor Ross said in a news release.
The five Upchurch attorneys will remain in the firm’s St. Augustine office at 780 N. Ponce De Leon Blvd., which is now branded as Upchurch, Bailey and Upchurch, A Fisher Tousey Firm.
“We are incredibly proud of the work we’ve done for families and businesses in St. Augustine and that work will not change,” Michael Siragusa, managing partner of Upchurch, Bailey and Upchurch, said in the release.
“As we looked to find a partner for the next 100 years, we wanted a firm that would uphold the same high standards and values that are important to us and our clients. We found that partner in Fisher Tousey.”
