RadiFi Credit Union has announced the promotion of long-standing executive leader Joy Bing to the role of Chief Operations Officer (COO). Bing’s promotion reflects RadiFi’s continued focus on strengthening operations, enhancing the member experience, and investing in people as it celebrates 90 years of service to Northeast Florida.
RadiFi has a long-standing tradition of putting members first and creating experiences that are both personalized and forward-thinking. This promotion comes at a pivotal time as the credit union continues to grow, adapt, and expand its impact across the communities it serves. Appointing Bing to this key leadership role reinforces RadiFi’s commitment to operational excellence and to cultivating leaders from within who understand the organization’s purpose and culture.
Since joining RadiFi in 2008, Bing has progressively advanced through a variety of leadership roles, including Director of Lending Operations, Vice President of Consumer Lending and Mortgage, and most recently, Chief Lending Officer. In each of these positions, she has been instrumental in driving loan growth, streamlining processes, building high-performing teams, and fostering stronger alignment between departments with the goal of delivering exceptional service to members.
In her expanded role as COO, Bing now oversees lending, collections, the Member Engagement Center, credit union operations, retail branch operations, and wealth solutions. Her leadership is central to RadiFi’s strategy to deliver consistent, seamless experiences across every channel, whether in a branch, digitally, or over the phone. By connecting operational functions under one cohesive leadership structure, RadiFi is positioned to adapt more efficiently to the evolving needs of its growing membership base.
Leading with Purpose and Proven Results
Bing’s leadership has helped transform RadiFi’s lending operations and elevated both performance and member satisfaction. Her strategic thinking, collaborative approach, and ability to connect vision with execution have earned her widespread respect across the organization. She is known not only for achieving results but also for the way she leads – with empathy, clarity, and a strong sense of purpose.
“Joy has played a pivotal role in elevating our lending performance while fostering a culture of service excellence throughout her career here at RadiFi,” said John Servos, President and CEO of RadiFi Credit Union.
“Her ability to lead high-performing teams and drive operational efficiencies makes her the ideal leader to help guide our next phase of strategic growth.”
Throughout her tenure, Bing has been an advocate for innovation, introducing lending strategies that improved speed, transparency, and accessibility for members. She has also championed technology enhancements that align with RadiFi’s goal of creating frictionless financial experiences.
Focusing on the Future
As COO, Bing plays a key role in aligning daily operations with RadiFi’s long-term vision. Her expanded oversight ensures that every process and member interaction reflect the credit union’s mission to empower members to live vibrantly through care and guidance. She will also work closely with RadiFi’s leadership team to execute initiatives that support continued growth, employee development, and community impact.
Bing is known for cultivating strong relationships across the organization, helping teams collaborate, innovate, and move forward together. She has been instrumental in mentoring emerging leaders, fostering teamwork, and creating a culture where innovation, collaboration, and accountability thrive. Her leadership style reflects RadiFi’s core values of Relationships, Teamwork, Dedication, and Possibilities – driving progress while reflecting the values that define RadiFi’s culture.
Before joining RadiFi, Bing served as a Senior Credit Auditor at GE Capital in Atlanta, where she gained valuable experience in credit, risk, and compliance, expertise that has shaped her strategic leadership and helped RadiFi strike a balance between sustainable growth and sound lending practices. That background laid the foundation for the disciplined, data-informed approach she brings to every aspect of her work.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Bing remains active in RadiFi’s community efforts, often volunteering at local events, supporting financial literacy programs, and upholding the credit union’s commitment to giving back. She’s actively engaged across the organization, staying closely connected to the teams who bring RadiFi’s mission to life each day.
“It’s an honor to step into this new role and help lead an organization that has played such a meaningful part in my career,” said Bing. “I’m proud to work alongside such a dedicated team, focused on creating meaningful impact for our members, employees, and the communities we call home.”
Bing’s promotion marks not just a professional milestone but a continued investment in leadership that reflects RadiFi’s commitment—community-focused, forward-thinking, and fully dedicated to creating meaningful experiences for both members and employees.
