Jacksonville City Council filled the final empty seat on the city Planning Commission on Aug. 26, confirming D.R. Repass as an at-large representative.

With the 17-0 vote, with Council members Jimmy Peluso and Terrance Freeman not present, Repass became the second confirmation in recent weeks, after Council confirmed Mone Holder to move from an at-large position to the  District 5 representative on Aug. 12.

The Planning Commission comprises nine members. Its duties include reviewing and making recommendations to Council on rezonings and proposed land use amendments.

The vote came on Resolution 2025-0556.

According to Repass’ resume, which was attached to the resolution, he has practiced as an attorney at Repass Law since 2004, specializing in commercial and residential real estate transactions. He has represented developers, general contractors and businesses.

Repass was admitted to the bar in 2000 after graduating from the now-defunct Florida Coastal School of Law, his resume shows.
