An online auction is underway for memorabilia and equipment from the closed Adventure Landing and Shipwreck Island Waterpark in Jacksonville Beach.
Adventure Landing announced the public auction in a Dec. 1 news release. It was organized by North Carolina-based Bill Ramsey & Associates and is scheduled through Dec. 4. The bidding link is bramsey.hibid.com/catalog/695986/jacksonville-family-entertainment-center-liquidation.
The park operated for about 30 years at 1944 Beach Blvd., with such features as the water park, a go-kart track, batting cages and miniature golf. It closed in October to make way for apartments and retail spaces.

Among several hundred items up for sale are:
• Original signage.
• Go-karts.
• Arcade and ticket-redemption games.
• Restaurant and kitchen equipment.
• Operational supplies.
• Memorabilia and artwork collected over the lifespan of the park.

Auction items will be on display at the park from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 3 and 9 a.m. to noon on Dec. 4, according to the release.
Trevato Development Group purchased the park property in 2021. The park leased the property and operated on a seasonal basis from 2022 through its closure.
Jacksonville Beach City Council approved rezoning for the apartment project in November 2022.

Adventure Landing operates parks at 2780 Florida 16 in St. Augustine, and in Kansas, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Ohio and Texas.
In October, the Jacksonville Daily Record reported that the St. Johns River Water Management District was reviewing an application that includes demolishing the St. Augustine park and redeveloping the site for commercial use.
A spokesman for Trevato has stated that the apartments and retail project is planned to begin construction in the first quarter of 2026.
