MSA Professional Services Inc. announced Dec. 8 it acquired Jacksonville electrical and mechanical engineering services company Haddad Engineering Inc.
Founded in 1984, Haddad Engineering is headquartered at 3030 Hartley Road, Suite 290.
Wisconsin-based MSA offers municipal and transportation engineering, environmental, planning, architecture, surveying, consulting, design, civil and construction-related services.
MSA says the company was founded in 1919 and incorporated in 1962. It has been employee-owned through a employee stock ownership plan since 2017.
The company has more than 500 employees and offices in five states.
MSA has 19 offices in Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Jacksonville is the second Florida office for the company. It opened a Sarasota office in January.

“Joining MSA will allow us to expand our impact while continuing to serve our clients and community with the same dedication and care,” Haddad Engineering President Namir Haddad said in the release.
Terms of the acquisition were not announced.
