The U.S. Navy Blue Angels will headline the Jacksonville Sea & Sky Air Show along the Jacksonville Beach coastline in 2027.
The city announced the event Dec. 9.
The air team is scheduled to perform Oct. 23-24 as part of the free event along with a “wide array of military and civilian air performers.”
“We are grateful to the Blue Angels for their planned return to our Sea & Sky Airshow to showcase their service, skill, and teamwork. It is a privilege to have the Blue Angels and all military air performers bring the thrill and magic of flight back to our proud military community,” Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan said in a news release.
The Blue Angels canceled their performance at the 2025 Jacksonville Sea & Sky Air Show in October because of the federal government shutdown.
“I want to thank the City of Jacksonville for working so hard with us to bring the 2027 Sea & Sky Show – along with the Blue Angels – back to Jacksonville Beach,” Jacksonville Beach Mayor Chris Hoffman said in the release. “This is a big day for all of us. We can’t wait to show off our community, celebrate the military, and enjoy the show in 2027.”
The city said the 2027 National Air Show Calendar was announced Dec. 9 at the International Council of Air Shows in Las Vegas.
Northeast Florida fans of the Blue Angels won’t have to wait until 2027 to see them perform. They are scheduled to headline the NAS Jax Air Show on Oct. 17-18, 2026, at NAS Jacksonville. For more information visit nasjaxairshow.com.
