The Northeast Florida Regional Council announced the winners of the 2025 Northeast Florida Regional Leadership Awards on Dec. 15.
The organization presents the awards annually to recognize “extraordinary people, projects, and partnerships shaping a stronger, more vibrant Northeast Florida.”
A ceremony to celebrate the award recipients is scheduled for noon, Jan. 8, at WJCT Public Media, 100 Festival Park Ave. in Jacksonville.

The event is anchored by the Regional Leadership Award, given to a person who exemplifies service to the community and commitment to regionalism. The 2025 recipient is The Rev. Allison DeFoor of the North Florida Land Trust.
