Former Duval Teachers United president, executive vice president indicted

Federal charges include conspiracy to commit wire fraud and mail fraud, government seeks to recover more than $2.6 million.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office announced the unsealing of an indictment Jan. 13 charging Teresa Brady (69, Jacksonville) and Ruby George (81, Jacksonville) with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and mail fraud, eight counts of aiding and abetting wire fraud, and three counts of aiding and abetting mail fraud.
