A Georgia-based restaurant chain is moving to Brooklyn Station at Riverside at the end of the year.

Zunzibar, with locations in Savannah and Tybee Island in Georgia and in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, is moving into the former Burrito Gallery space at 90 Riverside Ave., Suite 601.

Burrito Gallery closed June 22. It occupied 3,525 square feet of space.

Burrito Gallery at Brooklyn Station, shown on the restaurant's Facebook page, has closed.

Eric Davidson, senior communications manager of Brooklyn Station landlord Regency Centers, confirmed Zunzibar will be the new tenant.

The shopping center is anchored by The Fresh Market.

Zunzibar is a beach-themed restaurant that sells wings, sandwiches and has a full bar.

It specializes in Low Country peel-and-eat shrimp and has its own sauce recipe for sandwiches and salads.

It serves Boerewors sausage that originated in South Africa and combines beef and pork seasoned with black pepper, coriander, clove, allspice and nutmeg.

Items are grilled. There are no in-house fried items on the menu.

On its website, Zunzibar calls itself a “beachy sports bar.” It also features live music and outdoor dining.

Zunzibar specializes in craft cocktails and frozen drinks. The Tybee Island location has two happy hours daily – 5-7 p.m. and 10-11 p.m.

The other two locations offer discounts 4-7 p.m.

It is a cashless restaurant. Customers must pay by credit or debit card.
