Chicken Salad Chick said it will open June 10 at 4495 Roosevelt Blvd. in the Ortega Park shopping center. It will be its fifth Northeast Florida restaurant.
It is in the 300 building – also shown as Building E – that is bisected by the Ortega Alley pedestrian retail feature and anchored by West Marine and Orangetheory Fitness. It is a corner unit next to Great Clips.
Ortega Park is the former Roosevelt Square.
The restaurant announced the opening, its 40th store in Florida, in a May 27 news release. The chain has three other locations in Jacksonville and one in St. Augustine.
“Our team has poured their hearts into creating an inviting and comfortable gathering space for friends and family, and we look forward to reconnecting with our Jacksonville neighbors at this new location in Ortega Park,” Chicken Salad Chick CEO Scott Deviney said in the release.
Store hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Saturday. It is closed Sunday.
From June 10 to 14, the first guests in line to make a purchase also will receive prizes.
On June 10, the first 100 people who purchase The Chick Meal will receive free chicken salad for a year.
Chicken Salad Chick will donate proceeds from opening events to Impact Clay, a nonprofit organization that addresses community needs including affordable housing, unemployment, child care, transportation and hunger.
