Baptist Health will open a neurology office at the planned Village Crossing Center in Southside Quarter.

The center is at 11525 Village Crossing Drive, just east of Gate Parkway.

NAI Hallmark brokered a seven-year lease for the 8,060-square-foot space, the commercial real estate company announced in a June 23 news release.

NAI Hallmark Vice Presidents Sarah Teagle and Patrick Carney represented the landlord. Robert Selton of Colliers represented Baptist Health.

The mixed-use development is scheduled for completion and occupancy by summer 2025.

“Baptist Health’s long-term lease is a strong endorsement of the quality and vision behind Village Crossing Center,” Teagle said in the release.

Developer Paul Hassan said in March 2024 that Village Crossing Center was designed as three buildings totaling almost 43,000 square feet of space at northeast Gate Parkway and Village Crossing Drive.

The city issued a permit Feb. 4 for the largest structure, Unit 1000, a two-story, 36,000-square-foot medical shell office building, at a project cost of $3.175 million.

On April 16, the next two were issued permits at a project cost totaling $600,000: Unit 2000, at 2,500 square feet, is $350,000; Unit 3000, at 3,550 square feet, is $350,000.

The center offers flexible leasing options for retail, medical, and office tenants, the release said.
