Pro bono assistance opportunity in U.S. District Court

The plaintiff alleges that he is unable to receive medical treatment and as such his medical condition is worsening.

The U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida, Jacksonville Division, has a case in which the court seeks to appoint counsel to represent the plaintiff who filed a complaint pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983 on April 16, 2025.

He alleges that he is unable to receive medical treatment and as such his medical condition is worsening.

The case is Billy J. Martin v. Executive Medical Director Centurion, No. 3:25-cv-422-MMH-LLL (M.D. Fla.).

Pursuant to the Court’s  Civil Pro Bono Appointment Program, an appointed attorney is permitted to be reimbursed for certain costs incurred during the representation.
