Remaining pool permits issued at Four Seasons

The hotel and residences on Jacksonville’s Downtown Northbank landed five permits for pools and water features.

The Four Seasons Hotel and Residences landed its remaining four permits to round out its pool and water features at its Downtown development on the Northbank of the St. Johns River.

The city issued permits May 5 for Southern Aquatics Inc. of Ponte Vedra to furnish and install an adult pool, a family spa and two water features at a combined cost of $340,000.

The spa is $40,000 while the pool and water features are $100,000 each.

That followed the May 2 permit May 2 for Southern Aquatics to furnish and install an in-ground family pool at a project cost of $100,000.

Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan is developing the Four Seasons at 1406 E. Bay St. through Shipyards Hotel Jacksonville LLC. 

Khan is developing the Four Seasons and a neighboring office building, One Shipyards Place, where the team will be headquartered.

PCL Construction LLC of Orlando is the overall general contractor.

The 10-story Four Seasons Hotel and Residences comprises 170 hotel guestrooms and 26 residential units on 5.1 acres. The project is 542,700 square feet of enclosed space and 123,953 square feet of unenclosed space. 

Plans for the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences include an adult pool area.

There will be a spa, restaurants, ballrooms, bars, pools and other amenities. The hotel is projected to open in 2026. 

The city shows that the total site improvement cost for the Four Seasons and the One Shipyards Place office building, including site work, foundations, construction, mechanical, electrical fire protection systems and related work, reached almost $363.37 million as of April 30.
