Pinnacle Financial Partners announced May 13 it expanded its Ponte Vedra Beach office into a full-service location.

The space at 100 Corridor Road has been home to Horizon Group at Pinnacle Asset Management since May 2024, the Nashville, Tennessee-based bank said in a news release.

Pinnacle entered the Northeast Florida market in 2024 and opened a Jacksonville headquarters office in the Downtown Brooklyn area at 501 Riverside Ave., on the sixth floor. It has a full-service branch on the ground floor of that building.

The expanded Ponte Vedra space will allow for greater client engagement and expanded banking services, the release said.

Scott Keith

“This expansion marks a significant milestone for Pinnacle as we deepen our roots in the Ponte Vedra community,” said Scott Keith, regional president for Pinnacle, in the release. “We are ready to bring our distinctive service model to more clients in the area, offering them expanded access to the resources and expertise they need to reach their financial goals.”

The Horizon Group will remain in place as the office takes on additional space within the same building.

Lisa Schuman

The bank named Lisa Schuman office leader for the Ponte Vedra location.

Schuman’s career in financial services includes serving as financial center manager at First Citizens Bank in Ponte Vedra Beach, plus leadership roles at Bank of America, Synovus Bank and First Atlantic Bank.

“Her depth of experience and passion for delivering outstanding client service will be invaluable as we expand our presence in the market,” Lauren Huynh, area manager for client services, said in the release.

Pinnacle Financial Partners began operations in a single location in Nashville in October 2000 and has since grown to approximately $54.3 billion in assets as of March 31. As the second-largest bank holding company headquartered in Tennessee, the firm operates in 17 primarily urban markets across the Southeast.

Its market is commercial and middle market companies, small businesses and personal financial customers.

Pinnacle recruited Keith, former North Florida regional president for Truist Financial Corp., and Debbie Buckland, who had worked alongside Keith as Jacksonville market president at Truist, to lead its Jacksonville office when it entered the market.
