Money Pages announced publishing and sales executive Sara Pomposo joined the company this month as Vice President of Sales.
Pomposo moved to Jacksonville in 2017 as Market President and Publisher for the Jacksonville Business Journal, the first female publisher at the business newspaper. She served that role for seven years, leaving last year to become Vice President of Marketing and Brand Strategy for BHRS Companies in Jacksonville.
The bulk of Pomposo’s career is in publishing and sales with the American City Business Journals, beginning in 2008 in various sales roles with the Tampa Bay Business Journal before moving to the company’s corporate headquarters in Charlotte in 2013. There, Pomposo served as Regional Audience Sales Director, overseeing sales teams in 13 of the company’s 40 markets across the country.
Founded in 2001, Money Pages is a multimedia company helping communities save money and local businesses grow. The team has extensive experience in magazine publishing, direct mail, digital marketing and branding. Money Pages’ complete marketing system provides advertisers with integrated fulfillment to promote their businesses with multiple marketing channels.
“Money Pages is an incredible local brand that has continued to adapt and evolve to better serve businesses and consumers,” Pomposo said. “Jacksonville is a great place to live, a great place to do business and I can’t wait to join the team and get started.”
In her new role, Pomposo will oversee the sales and graphic design teams, Money Pages CEO Alan Worley said.
“Sara knows sales and publishing inside and out – and she’s worked hard to build relationships and understand this market as well as anyone,” Worley said. “We’re in a growth mode right now – both locally and with franchises across the Southeast and Sara’s skills and experience will be invaluable as we continue to grow.”
Pomposo is Chair of the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl and has served on the Business Advisory Council for the Coggin College of Business at the University of North Florida. She also served on the JAX Chamber Board of Directors and is a Leadership Jacksonville graduate.
Pomposo graduated from the University of Northern Kentucky with a degree in graphic design. She lives in Jacksonville with her husband Chris and two dogs.
She joins Money Pages at a time of strategic growth. This year Money Pages has a new franchise market opening in Gainesville, FL and their Northwest Georgia franchise is expanding into Roswell and Alpharetta, GA. With 28 markets across the Southeast, Money Pages is mailed to over 13 million homes annually.
Along with magazine publishing and direct mail, Money Pages also offers a full suite of digital marketing services to give business an omni-channel approach to marketing.
