It is selling to the owner of the Purple Olive restaurant after 42 years in business.

After 42 years of operation, St. Augustine restaurant Gypsy Cab Co. is closing June 5.

It will make way for Purple Olive, which will relocate from its St. Augustine location about 5 miles south. 

Gypsy Cab Co. announced the closing in a social media post May 22.
