Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced Nov. 17 that state offices will be closed Nov. 26, Dec. 26 and Jan. 2 in celebration of the holidays.
The dates are in addition to regular office closures Nov. 27-28 for Thanksgiving; Christmas on Dec. 25 and New Year’s Day on Jan. 1.
Christmas and New Years Day fall on a Thursday this season.
“Our state employees have worked hard throughout the year,” DeSantis said in a news release.
“I hope they enjoy additional time off with loved ones and friends this holiday season. The First Lady and I are thankful for their continued dedication to the people of Florida.”
