Jacksonville-based Turner Pest Control announced Oct. 2 that Kevin Poland is the company’s new president.
Turner said Poland will be “responsible for leading Turner Pest Control’s strategic direction, overseeing daily operations and fostering a performance-driven culture rooted in innovation, empathy and service excellence.”
Anticimex, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, acquired Turner Pest Control in 2024. Anticimex says it operates in 22 countries with 12,000 employees and 3 million customers in 21 countries. It has revenue of about $1.79 billion.
Anticimex itself is owned by EQT, a Swedish global private equity company with more than $300 billion in assets under management.
Poland previously was president of American Pest, another Anticimex company based in Maryland.
Turner Pest Control said in a news release that Poland contributed to major initiatives, such as integrating 17 mergers and acquisitions to launching new service lines during the coronavirus pandemic.
The release said Poland in involved with the National Pest Management Association’s Leadership Networking Council and the boards of both the Maryland State Pest Control Association and the Virginia Pest Management Association.
Poland’s arrival “aligns with several recent and upcoming acquisitions already underway, as well as the strategic divestment of the company’s fumigation division to focus on core service lines,” the release said.
“Kevin brings a rare blend of operational acumen and a proven track record of driving growth through strategic acquisitions and team development. His leadership style perfectly aligns with our vision for Turner’s next phase of expansion and innovation across Florida,” Anticimex North America President Steve Nylund said.
Anticimex says on its website that in 2024 it had acquired 400 companies since 2015.
