Heartland Dental wants to renovate the former Community First Credit Union along Baymeadows Road for an office and clinic.
The city is reviewing a permit application for an estimated $660,000 renovation of the 4,455-square-foot building developed in 2008 on 1.59 acres at 8165 Point Meadows Way.
The site is at northwest Baymeadows Road and Interstate 295.
Greenlite Technologies Inc. of New York City is providing private plan review. Franz Architects of Benbrock, Texas, is the architect.

Plans show a dental practice in a 3,920-square-foot space.
Jacksonville-based Community First Credit Union moved the branch business in November 2024 to a location in the Southside Quarter development. The 3,588-square-foot branch and drive-thru were developed on 1.1 acres Community First bought at 7543 Gate Parkway.
The property is owned by C&B Jax Property LLC of DeLand.
Community First announced in October 2023 that it would close its Baymeadows location, about 2½ miles south, when the new branch was completed at the end of 2024.
A marketing brochure from Property Theater LLC lists the property for lease.
