A day after selling about 695 acres in Northwest Jacksonville for $12.5 million, Robert and Wendy Taylor bought 476.1 acres in Nassau County on Oct. 16 for $10.1 million.
The vacant property is east of U.S. 301 and northeast of Crawford, about 5 miles southwest of Callahan. It is about 23 miles northeast of Downtown Jacksonville.
The Taylors bought the land from Jacksonville-based Thomas Creek Plantation LLC. The LLC is managed by Sharyn Lobrano.
Robert Taylor is the owner of Robert’s Diesel Service Inc. at 7010 Pritchard Road. Wendy Taylor is listed as sales, according to the company website.
Robert’s Diesel Service sells semitrucks and trailers and offers parts and service.
On Oct. 15, the Taylors sold their Jacksonville land to Coastland Group, a Neptune Beach-based real estate developer.
Coastland Group took out a mortgage with Robert C. Taylor and Wendy Mansfield for $6 million. Mansfield is also known as Wendy G. Taylor.
According to its website, Coastland Group says it “has the vision and expertise to take raw land and turn it into a community for families.”
The company’s website shows multiple projects sold to national homebuilders.
