 
                            
                            
                                Jacksonville-based Borland Groover announced a new leadership team in an Oct. 21 news release.
Borland Groover has been providing digestive health care in Florida since 1947. Its website shows 31 locations, most in Northeast Florida, but some south to Deltona and west to Santa Rosa Beach.
The new executive leaders are CEO Dinesh Madhok, M.D.; CFO Tom Bailey; Clinic COO CloydThomas Jr.; and Chief Human Resources Officer Pamela Nix.
The team joins Borland Groover’s Ancillary Division COO Jackie Kennedy and Chief Information Officer Vince Vitali.
“Together, this team combines fresh perspective with proven experience to move Borland Groover forward in delivering the best in patient care,” Kennedy said in the release.
“This is a pivotal moment for our organization,” Madhok said. “With the support of a strong, multidisciplinary leadership team, we are building the internal foundation needed to support our providers, streamline workflows and sustain long-term growth.”
The new leaders
• CEO Dinesh Madhok, M.D. is a board certified gastroenterologist who has been part of Jacksonville’s medical community since 1993 and joined Borland Groover in 1997.
He earned his medical degree from the Armed Forces Medical College in India before completing his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center in Michigan.
He also serves as chief of gastroenterology for the graduate medical education program at HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital and is a member of the hospital’s board of trustees.
• CFO Tom Bailey joined Borland Groover in April 2025. He previously served as vice president of finance at Brooks Rehabilitation and chief financial officer at UF Health St. Johns.
Bailey holds MBA and MHA degrees, is a fellow of both The American College of Healthcare Executives and the Healthcare Financial Management Association, a trustee for JAX Chamber, and serves on the board of directors for The Assistance Fund.
• COO Cloyd Thomas Jr., joined Borland Groover in August 2025 as the clinic’s chief operating officer. Thomas has led initiatives to enhance patient access, streamline operational workflows, and support clinical teams in delivering high-quality, patient-focused care.
Thomas earned a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Toledo and and an MBA from Ohio Dominican University.
• Chief Human Resources Officer Pamela Nix joined Borland Groover in 2023.
In her role, she oversees all human resources functions, including recruitment, compensation, benefits, compliance, policy and employee relations.
Nix holds a bachelor’s from the University of Georgia and an MBA from the University of Memphis. She is certified as a Society for Human Resource Management-Senior Certified Professional and an Accreditation in Public Relations.
