Jacksonville Area Legal Aid’s second annual Clay Shoot Fundraiser is Oct. 10 at Jacksonville Clay Target Sports.
Check-in begins at 1:30 p.m. with the competition starting at 2:30 p.m., followed by a reception at 5:30 p.m.
The inaugural event raised more than $16,000, directly supporting free legal services for local residents facing eviction, domestic violence and consumer fraud.
“After seeing how much last year’s clay shoot brought together and how it helped provide access to justice, we’re even more inspired for 2025. Teams and sponsors early to register help us aim higher — literally and figuratively,” said Shawn DeVries, JALA board member.
• The competition is open to all experience levels — no shooting experience is needed.
• Prizes will be presented to the top teams and individual shooters.
• The reception after the competition will include heavy hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine and cocktails.
• Four-person teams may register for $1,200, individuals for $325. Registration includes ammunition, clays and the reception.
• Sponsorship packages are available starting at $250.

Funds raised will support JALA’s ongoing legal aid work in Northeast Florida ensuring vulnerable individuals have access to legal representation.
