On Sept. 10, Gov. Ron DeSantis appointed Randall Daugustinis, of St. Augustine, to serve as judge on the 7th Judicial Circuit Court. The circuit comprises Flagler, Putnam, Volusia and St. Johns counties.

Daugustinis was an assistant state attorney for the 4th Judicial Circuit since 2020 and was an assistant state attorney in the 10th Judicial Circuit.

She received a bachelor’s from the University of Tampa and a J.D. in 2014 from Florida Coastal School of Law.

Daugustinis fills the vacancy created by the June 5 retirement of Circuit Judge Stasia Warren.

DeSantis also appointed St. Augustine resident Benjamin Rich to serve as judge on the St. Johns County Court.

Rich was managing assistant state attorney for the 7th Judicial Circuit since 2010. Previously, he was an associate attorney with McCune Law Group in St. Augustine.

He received a bachelor’s from the University of Central Florida and a J.D. in 2005 from Florida Coastal School of Law.

Rich fills the vacancy created when DeSantis elevated St. Johns County Judge Lauren Blocker to the 7th Circuit in May.
