Gina Acosta has joined Acosta Group’s corporate communications team as vice president, industry influence and communications.
“In her new role, she will be elevating Acosta Group’s insights, executive perspective and real-world expertise into clear, credible narratives for retailers, brands, media and partners. Gina’s deep understanding of the grocery and consumer goods industry and her work at the intersection of narrative journalism, industry insights, and executive storytelling will amplify Acosta Group’s distinctive voice across all platforms,” the company said in a Jan. 7 news release.
Acosta Group said she is not connected with the Acosta family name of Acosta Group.
Acosta’s most recent role was editorial director and associate publisher of Progressive Grocer magazine, a retail food industry publication. Previously, she held editorial positions with the Tampa Bay Times and the Washington Post.
