Scenic Jacksonville’s 6th Annual Great Cities Symposium is 5:30-8 p.m. Feb. 5 at the Garden Club of Jacksonville, 1005 Riverside Ave.

The keynote speaker is Victor Dover, principal-in-charge and co-founder of Miami-based Dover, Kohl & Partners. Trained as an architect, Dover’s work focuses on urban planning projects around the world.

The event opens with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres and ends with desserts from Biscottis along with social time with civic, business and city leaders.

The Great Cities Symposium is an annual program that aims to inform, educate and create community conversations about the vibrancy of peer cities and how Jacksonville can learn from their successes and challenges.
