Mavi, a jeansmaker based in Istanbul with six locations in the U.S., is in review for a store at St. Johns Town Center.
US.Mavi.com shows men’s and women’s denim jeans along with socks, briefs, belts, totes, shirts, shorts, skirts and more.
The site shows the range of fits, fabrics and washes of the denim jeans.
Online prices for the pants range up to $148.
The city is reviewing a permit application for Mavi at 4711 River City Drive, Unit 107, where Casper sleep products has operated for six years. Casper Sleep Shops sell mattresses, pillows, adjustable bases and more.

A&E Construction Co. of Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, is the contractor for the estimated $432,386 build-out of 2,729 square feet of space for Mavi.
Mavi US Retail LLC of New York City is the applicant. Zampolin & Associates of Westwood, New Jersey, is the architect. Simon Property Group of Indianapolis is the landlord.
Casper remains on the center’s store directory and on the Casper.com site. Casper products also are sold at furniture and mattress stores in the area.
A store associate had no information to share. New York City-based Casper’s corporate communications contact did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

On the company site, Mavi calls itself a global lifestyle brand. It says it controls the manufacturing process from design to washing and production.
Incorporated 35 years ago, Mavi has been publicly traded since 2017 and has a presence in 34 countries and sells its products at 485 Mavi shops among about 4,000 locations that carry its merchandise.
Mavi means “blue” in Turkish.
Its six U.S. stores comprise two in New York and one each in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas and Washington.

Its site shows that Mavi jeans are carried in two Centre Street stores in Fernandina Beach at JJ Cooper men’s fashions and the Pearl women’s boutique.
Mavi says it is the world’s eighth best company in sustainable growth in 2025, according to a Time magazine and Statista survey, and the leader of the apparel category.
“In line with its global strategy, All Blue, built on sustainable growth through quality, the company integrates sustainability into its corporate culture, vision, products, and growth targets,” it says.
Among its products, it uses recycled and organic materials.
