Mayor Donna Deegan schedules town halls to discuss housing, health care and infrastructure

The eight events will take place around Jacksonville from Feb. 3 to March 31.

Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan will appear at a series of town halls around the city during February and March, the city announced Jan. 21. 

According to the city, the events will focus on the Deegan administration’s efforts to make housing and health care more affordable, improve underserved neighborhoods and enhance infrastructure across the city.

The town halls are free and do not require registration to attend. The 90-minute events are set to start at 6 p.m. 

The schedule:

Feb. 3: William M. Raines High School, 3663 Raines Ave.

Feb. 17: Westside High School, 5530 Firestone Road.

Feb. 19: Duncan U. Fletcher High School, 700 Seagate Ave.

Feb. 26: Samuel W. Wolfson School for Advanced Studies, 7000 Powers Ave.

March 3: Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, 2445 San Diego Road.

March 12: Mandarin High School, 4831 Greenland Road.

March 24: Springfield Middle School, 2034 Hubbard St.

March 31: Fort Caroline Middle School of Visual and Performing Arts, 3787 University Club Blvd.
