PS27 presents inaugural Entrepreneurship Awards

Six local innovators and business founders are honored for their accomplishments and contributions.

The inaugural PS27 Entrepreneurship Awards were presented Jan. 22 at the St. John Event Center.

The red carpet event, dubbed “The Oscars for entrepreneurship in Jacksonville,” recognized six local business innovators who were selected from more than 400 nominations.

PS27 Ventures is a Jacksonville-based venture capital firm led by founder and CEO Jim Stallings.

The winners:

Jim Evanger, interim CEO of Super Home Services LLC, is Mentor of the Year.

Anthony B. Miles, co-founder of Bon Vivant Safety Eyewear, is Veteran Entrepreneur of the Year.

Raghu Misra, founder of The Link coworking events space, is Ecosystem Builder of the Year.

Andrew Rush, co-founder and CEO of Star Catcher, is Entrepreneur of the Year.

Summer Vyne, founder and CEO of AnuVision  Technologies, is Jacksonville Small and Emerging Business of the Year.

Ted Willich of NLP Logix is Corporate Innovator of the Year.

Bon Vivant Safety Eyewear founder and CEO Anthony B. Miles and co-founder Jennifer K. Marin. Miles is the PS27 Veteran Entrepreneur of the Year.
