Coffee and doughnut chain Dunkin’ is advancing plans for a 2,000-square-foot shop in the SilverLeaf community of St. Johns County.

The county began reviewing plans Feb. 19 and is scheduled to discuss them March 25.

Jacksonville-based Matthews | DCCM is the civil engineer. Hutson Co., through White’s Ford Timber LLC, owns the land at Silverleaf and Saint Johns parkways, northwest of Interstate 95 and International Golf Parkway.

The Publix-anchored shopping center’s other tenants include Avalon Nails, Club Pilates, SoFresh, UPS and Fifth Third Bank.

About 2 miles west, a second development is proposed that would be anchored by a grocery store matching the footprint of North Carolina-based Harris Teeter.

At full build-out, SilverLeaf is planned for 16,300 homes.
