The Blake at St. Johns senior living facility sells for $32 million

Ohio-based Welltower real estate investment trust bought the complex, which opened in April 2025.

The Blake at St. Johns, a Saint Johns senior living facility, sold for $32 million on March 4.

Pensacola-based QSL Management sold the property at 2430 County Road 210 through Blake at St. Johns LLC. 

QSL operates a network of independent living, assisted living and memory care facilities in the Southeast. 

Real estate investment trust Welltower made the purchase through 2430 County Rd 210 Propoco LLC. Welltower, based in Toledo, Ohio, focuses on rental housing for seniors. 

According to welltower.com, the trust owns more than 2,500 communities in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada. In a 2025 financial report, the company listed assets of $67.3 billion.

Construction on The Blake at St. Johns began in June 2023 at a project cost of $14 million. The two-story, 116,000-square-foot complex opened in April 2025. It comprises 118 units, including 70 assisted living apartments and 48 memory care apartments.

There are 10 more Blake-branded locations across Arkansas, Florida, South Carolina and Texas.
