JBA board of governors nominations open March 8

In addition to president-elect, four open seats will be on the 2026-27 ballot.

Nominations open March 8 for the Jacksonville Bar Association 2026-27 board of governors.

In addition to the to 2025-26 Treasurer Adina Pollan, who will be on the ballot for president-elect, there are four open seats for the upcoming Bar year that begins July 1.

JBA members in good standing may apply for the ballot by visiting News & Press section at jaxbar.org and filling out the application.

The nomination period closes April 1.

Also up for voting this year are the Committee Chair of the Year Award, the Professionalism Award and the Lawyer of the Year Award presented by the Jacksonville Daily Record and the Liberty Bell Award, presented each year to a non-lawyer who has made a positive impact on the legal community.

The awards will be presented May 7 at the annual JBA Law Day luncheon.
