Allegiant Airlines to offer nonstop service to Nashville, Washington, D.C.

The routes from Jacksonville International Airport begin in November.

Allegiant Airlines announced June 29 it will offer nonstop service from Jacksonville International Airport to Nashville and Washington, D.C., in the fall.

Service to Nashville International Airport begins Nov. 18 and flights to Dulles International Airport start Nov. 19.

Flights to Nashville will be available Thursdays and Sundays. Flights to Washington are Fridays and Mondays. Introductory fares start at $39.

Allegiant Airlines provides seasonal and year-round service to seven airports from Jacksonville including Belleville-St. Louis; Cincinnati; Cleveland; Columbus, Ohio; Indianapolis; Norfolk, Virginia; and Pittsburgh.


The new service has competitors. Southwest offers nonstop service to Nashville and United has nonstop service to Dulles.
