California aerospace company buys Jacksonville industrial property

Regent Aerospace Corp., a California-based company that repairs aircraft interiors, bought an industrial warehouse center in Northwest Jacksonville.

Jax Industrial Developments LLC, headed by the president of Regent Aerospace, paid $1.27 million for the property, at 1507 Industrial Blvd., in a sale recorded today with the Duval County Clerk of Court.

Regent Aerospace provided a $1.25 million mortgage and security agreement to Jax Industrial Developments.

The president of Regent Aerospace was not immediately available for comment.

The property comprises four buildings, including three for light industrial and warehouse-distribution use.

Regent is based in Valencia, Calif.

Its website says it is the world's leading FAA-approved Part 145 Repair Station for aircraft interiors including seating, galley, lavatory, side walls and overhead bins, in-flight entertainment system, inserts and carts.

It was founded in 1993 and has continued to expand its operations.

It has more than 800 employees worldwide.
