Franchisee Don Lichte in Wisconsin intends to hold the ribbon-cutting at 9 a.m. July 15 at the almost 4,600-square-foot Middleburg at 1767 Blanding Blvd. The restaurant will operate 10 a.m.-10 p.m., with seating for 105 inside and 30 on the patio

In Duval County, franchisee Petar Stamov of Rockford, Illinois, is pursuing approvals for a 4,060-square-foot restaurant on 1.04 acres along Parramore Road in Collins Town Center in Southwest Jacksonville at southwest Collins Road and Interstate 295.

St. Johns County is reviewing an application for a 4,519-square-foot Culver's and drive-thru on an outparcel at The Fountains at St. Johns. The 1.22-acre site is at County Road 210 West and CE Wilson Road. A master development plan shows 110 seats.

The client is Ponte Vedra-based Titletown Properties, led by Anthony Marchese. The Fountains developer David Ergisi said the restaurant should open in the first quarter. Ergisi is president and CEO of Cross Regions Real Estate.

At least one more site is in due diligence along U.S. 1 in St. Augustine.

Culver's is known for its ButterBurgers, frozen custard and cheese curds as well as a menu of salads, sandwiches and comfort foods.

Jacksonville-based Murphy Land and Retail Services President Clint Murphy said previously he was working on more sites in St. Johns County and one in Yulee for Culver’s Franchising System LLC and the corporate real estate department.
