Pete Mitchell, a former tight end with the Jacksonville Jaguars, was among some local celebrities to be covered in mud Thursday to promote the March 22 MuckFest MS at the Jacksonville Equestrian Center. Participants run through mud and obstacles to raise money for multiple sclerosis organizations. Mitchell is the top fundraiser in the country for the Muck series, which includes Bike MS, Walk MS and MuckFest MS. Last year, he raised $20,000. To register or donate, visit muckfestms.com.
