Many of you recently received the YLS e-mail concerning the upcoming HabiJax project. If you’ve already read that e-mail, feel free to skip down to the next section of this article. For those of you that did not receive the e-mail, your server is down or Shotsie and Diane at the JBA Office don’t have your current e-mail address, and you should READ ON.

The commencement of construction of the YLS HabiJax house is set to begin on April 30. As such, we need your assistance now more than ever. This endeavor will require a tremendous volunteer effort in order to be successful. Your Board has committed to recruit volunteers to staff all of the work days required to construct the home. HabiJax tells us we will need at least 10 workers per day. You do not need to be a Young Lawyer, or a lawyer at all to assist. We are an equal opportunity employer.

Another YLS year comes to a close in June (or July depending on when we put together our annual lunch) and I know that at least two YLS Board seats will be up for grabs. Give some thought to throwing your name into the ring. Please call TJ Fraser for the details (543-8465; tj.fraser@a3plasma .com).
