Three federal COVID-19 drive-thru testing sites, run by the Florida Division of Emergency Management, will operate 8 a.m.-6 p.m. for eight days beginning July 8:

• In Arlington at Regency Square Mall, 9501 Arlington Expressway. The city said the site will be in the parking lot on the west side of the shopping center near the closed Sears store.

• In North Jacksonville at First Coast High School, 590 Duval Station Road.

• In West Jacksonville at Frank H. Peterson Academies, 7450 Wilson Blvd.

The city encourages people who wish to be tested to make an appointment at https://doineedacovid19test.com/.

The testing  is free and available for anyone age 5 and older regardless of symptoms.

Vehicles must have windows that open and close and people must remain in their vehicles at the testing sites. There will be no restroom facilities available.
