• The Kesler Mentoring Connection, Chamber of Commerce and the U.S. Postal Service will unveil the Mentoring a Child stamp today, featuring a design by artist Lance Hidy that depicts an adult offering guidance to a child. • The annual Disaster Preparedness Seminar is scheduled for Thursday from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. at the UNF University Center. Chip Patterson, the City’s emergency preparedness chief, is the speaker. The seminar includes discussions on how local businesses are impacted by disasters, how the city deals with a disaster and what steps area businesses are taking to protect against terrorism.
