Permits ahead of last year, stable

At the beginning of the third quarter, the numbers of permits issued remained fairly stable, with a drop of only 32 permits between June and July.

The 801 permits issued in July in the four-county area compares with 689 at the same time last year. The seven-month total year-to-date is 5,350.
