Restaurant, Retail Notes: Waffle House in Baldwin; Starbucks in Middleburg; Ellianos to Cedar Hills

The city is reviewing a permit application for Waffle House to renovate its Baldwin restaurant at 1066 U.S. 301 at a cost of $450,000.

Starbucks in Middleburg

Starbucks wants to build a 2,500-square-foot coffee shop and drive-thru on 1.38 acres at 1795 Blanding Blvd. in Middleburg.

North Florida Land Partnership LLC of Neptune Beach is the landowner. Seattle-based Starbucks Corp.is the developer. Bowman Consulting of Melbourne is the civil engineer. 

Ellianos to Cedar Hills

The city issued mobility fee calculation and concurrency reservation certificates for a 700-square-foot drive-thru Ellianos Coffee Co. shop at 3726 Blanding Blvd. in the Cedar Hills Shopping Center.

Gmuer Engineering LLC of Gainesville is the civil engineer. The menu includes coffee beverages, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, muffins and cookies.

Southern Seafood in Arlington

The city issued a permit Nov. 6 for Stateline Contractors Inc. to build-out the 2,400-square-foot former Nopalera Express restaurant at 8818 Atlantic Blvd. for Southern Seafood and Chicken Kitchen Inc. at a cost of $75,000.

Retail Note: Trulieve to Baymeadows

The city issued a permit Nov. 6 for Trulieve Dispensary to build out a 3,000-square-foot location at 8355 Baymeadows Road, completing the tenant space at Baymeadows Corner.

Commercial Restaurant and Retail Construction is the contractor for the $160,000 project. It is planned between Firehouse Subs and T-Mobile.
