RISE announced Oct. 6 it will build Linden House, a $60.1 million, 295-unit apartment community along Race Track Road in Bartram Park.

The developer said it bought the 5255 Race Track Road property for the apartments Sept. 30. The sale was not recorded by the Duval County Clerk of Courts as of Oct. 6.

RISE said it will work with real estate private equity firm Origin Investments on this development and possibly others.

“Origin continues to look for ways to further expand our footprint into high growth markets like Jacksonville,” Kyle Verhasselt, vice president of Origin Investments, said in the release.

“It makes tremendous sense to be aligned with a firm like RISE that has an exemplary track record nationally and a strong foothold throughout Florida.”

The apartments, which will rent at market rates, are planned for completion in February 2023.

The property is near Florida 9B and the Durbin Pavilion retail development in South Jacksonville near St. Johns County.

Linden House will offer studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units in three four-story buildings. It will have two resort-style pools, a courtyard, clubroom, common kitchen and fitness center.

Units will feature granite countertops, walk-in closets, private balconies and washer-dryers.

RISE General Contractors is the project contractor. Charlan Brock Architects is the architect and England, Thims & Miller Inc. is the civil engineer. RISE will develop, build and manage the community.

RISE also is developing The Julington apartments in Mandarin and The Doro in Downtown Jacksonville.
