Rotary Club of Jacksonville President Cindy Stover and Ron Autrey were two of more than a dozen club members who took turns Wednesday ringing the bell for the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Drive at the Landing, Hemming Plaza and City Hall. Salvation Army staff is still counting the proceeds from this year’s effort but last year, Downtown Rotarians raised $17,000 during their day of volunteering, the highest one-day total of the season.
