Scramblers Director of Franchising Kelly Buerk said the Toledo, Ohio-based company is committed to open five restaurants in the Jacksonville area.

They will be first two Scramblers in Florida and are corporate owned.

“Florida is a dynamite area for a Scramblers,” Buerk said by email June 30.

Scramblersrestaurants.com said the first two Jacksonville restaurants will open in August.

Hinson said after the first two open, Scramblers will look for more sites, including in Duval and St. Johns counties.

It operates 6:30 a.m.- 3 p.m. daily. The menu includes breakfast and lunch, including omelets, egg dishes, pancakes, sandwiches, salads and more.
