Texas de Brazil opening at Town Center Promenade

The Jacksonville restaurant is the chain’s 58th and its 10th in Florida.

Texas de Brazil Churrascaria opens Friday at Town Center Promenade, the company said in a news release.

The Brazilian-American steakhouse at 4634 Town Center Parkway offers traditional churrasco-style grilling, featuring a variety of meats including beef, lamb, pork, chicken and Brazilian sausage.

The restaurant also offers a 50-item salad area, roasted vegetables, cheeses, garlic mashed potatoes, fried bananas and a la carte dessert selections such as Brazilian flan and papaya cream. The restaurant offers wine along with traditional Brazilian lime caipirinha and other specialty cocktails.

The Dallas-based, family-owned restaurant began in 1998 and operates restaurants internationally. The Jacksonville restaurant is the chain’s 58th and its 10th in Florida.

Adult dinners are $42.99 or $24.99 for only the salad area. Children ages 6-12 receive a 50 percent discount for meals or salad. Children ages 3-5 are $5. Ages 2 and under dine free. Prices exclude alcohol, featured items, desserts and taxes.

Hours are 5-10 p.m. Monday-Thursday; 5-10:30 p.m. Friday; 4-10:30 p.m. Saturday; and 4-9 p.m. Sunday.
