Volaris West Kernan apartments sold for $66.25 million

The Volaris West Kernan apartments sold for $66.25 million on April 6, according to a deed recorded April 15 with the Duval County Clerk of Courts.

Connecticut-based Waypoint West Kernan FL Owner LLC, operated by Waypoint Real Estate Investments, sold the property to Washington, D.C.-based FRMF Jax, LLC, which is operated by Fundrise. 

The 301-unit apartment community was constructed in 2019 at northwest Kernan and Beach boulevards at 12517 Beach Blvd.

The apartments sold for $220,099.67 per unit.

Rents range from $1,270 a month for a one-bedroom to $2,180 a month for a three-bedroom apartment. 

Units include granite countertops, vinyl flooring, stainless steel appliances, walk-in closets, glass showers and balconies. 

The community offers a pet play and washing area, Peloton bikes, community fire pit, resort-style pool, fitness center, clubhouse, coffee bar and refreshment center.
