NEFBA’s Young Professionals Group held a fundraiser Nov. 28 to benefit Builders Care.

It also was known as Giving Tuesday.

The idea was to gather all loose coins around the house and office and put them to good use.

About 30 members and friends of the group attended the event at Moxie Kitchen+Cocktails.

They collected more than 75 pounds of coins that added up to an $800 contribution to Builders Care.

Gene Rover is confident his 20 pounds of change would top the list, but David Hacker topped that with 25 pounds.
